Gospel Outreach is responsible for accepting and distributing college scholarships, Short Term Mission Trip scholarships and Mission Grant Projects. Our goal is to support missions that are local, national and foreign. We collect coins and donations through Mite Boxes to help pay for our mission grant goals.

The 2012-2014 Mission Grants are funded through the gifts of mites to the New England District LWML. Mite donation checks should be made payable to "LWML-NED" and mailed to:

2012-2013 Scholarships Awarded

Four students received scholarships of $875 each for the 2012-2013 school year:

Sean Carpenter from the Lutheran Church of the Savior, Bedford, MA is going to Concordia University, Nebraska.  Sean is in his freshman year and is studying to be a pastor.

Michael Fieberkorn from the Lutheran Church of the Savior, Bedford, MA is going to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  Michael is in his fourth year and is studying to be a pastor.

Taylor Milano from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bristol, CT is going to Concordia College, New York. Taylor is in her freshman year and is studying to be a teacher.

John Stebbins from First Lutheran Church, Holyoke MA is going to Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN.  John is in his freshman year and is studying to be a pastor.
