Purple Pocket Power to Increase our Mite Giving!

The color purple was first associated with royalty because of its rarity and expense. It’s a befitting color to be worn by daughters of the King of Kings, as He is the owner of all the earth.  Pockets are something spare change collects in.  Put them together and you’ll find daughters of the King creatively finding ways to serve their Lord in ministering to His people through mission grants!

The Purple Pocket program was launched at the New England District LWML retreat, November 7th & 8th  as ladies lovingly make their very own purple pockets.

Display your Purple Pocket where you can easily find it on the first day of each month.  The first month you put one cent in your purple pocket, the second month 2 cents, and the third month 4 cents and so on, each month doubling the deposit.

If you are faithful about your purple pocket deposits, in 12 months you will have collected $40.95!

If we have 100 sisters faithfully complete this challenge, we will have and additional $4,095 towards our mite goal!

The Purple Pocket program is a special challenge in addition to our mite giving.  Look forward to seeing a very special and very large purple pocket at our next NED LWML convention for individual pocket collection!
